#74: Memorise a new monologue

=/ I had to memorise a long monologue from Daniel Rocket for the show. I'd type it up but I'm on my third glass of wine. Maybe later. The point is, I now have an obscure dramatic monologue to yank out at auditions.

#67: Give someone my number (or) call a number I've been given

I did! We went on two dates. I think it's progress. You know. Two dates is better than two years of none. Yeah. And the important thing is I know I am not permanently broken where men are concerned. Thank you Lord!

#49 Regular haircuts (2- months)

I've actually been pretty consistent about this one! mostly because I'm putting my hair through so much crap it gets fried. And yes, Sarah, I do consider this noteworthy. If you don't want to hear about my hair, don't read my personal improvement blog. :)

Healthy hair is important. And while we take care of the things with short-term effects--lotioning skin when it's chapped, drinking water when we're thirsty--hair tends to get put on the back burner. DON'T DO THIS.

Progress report! I have scrapbooked up until the middle of August 2010! =D
Unfortunately, even as I scrapbook, more scrapbookable stuff occurs, so...

#51: Make up my mind about the body-modification thing

I've decided. Now I just need to find out who is safe enough AND cheap enough to have it done... I want the above symbol about the size of a quarter on my left wrist. There's still some scarring there, and it's kind of the first thing I look at when things are tough. Having a heart there is basically having a permanent Ebenezer stone.

#13: Unpack MN storage unit...

^Not my storage unit. Mine was 5x5 and underground. It was climate controlled, though, so nice and warm. :)

Unpack my MN storage unit, sell/keep/purge the contents, and finally be free of the $40/month rent!!!

Currently finished/in progress... I am sitting among the contents of my storage unit on an air mattress in my BFF Gwendolyn's apartment. So I have unpacked it, and am free of the $40/month rent, but I still am on sell/keep/purge.

#9: Find a church

Alex and I (along with my sister, occasionally) have been attended Salinas Valley Community Church. It's non-denominational (so Baptistish), so there's no theological bickering. It's big, so no one notices or judges when we don't go to church. I don't know the pastor, so if he's taking pot shots at ex-parishioners in his sermons, I don't know who he's talking about. Also, not knowing the pastor means I do not know that IRL he's kind of a prick who is so permissive with his disabled son that he will traumatise a young girl and ostracise an employee to avoid hurting his son's feelings or even acknowledging that his son's behaviour IS wrong. ...I mean, uhm. What?
